The German RoboCup Regional Committee (https://robocup.de) recently decided that no central RoboCup German Open will be held in 2022, mainly due to the ongoing pandemic situation. Instead, smaller events will be planned in the respective major leagues.

The RoboCup Junior qualification competitions will take place as in previous years. Registration will open on 15 October 2021 at https://robocup.de/call_rcj2022. The deadline for registration is 30 November 2021. The final of the RoboCup Junior Championship is planned for April in Kassel.
